We can reform Capitalism so it works for humans instead of against us. Polanyi in his 1944 "The Great Transformation" argued for a Reciprocal Economy. We can easily change the Capitalist system to a Reciprocal Economy by sharing profits (new Capital) between investors and those who supplied the money (consumers).
